Speedwatch - back in action!

At the end of 2017, the Speedwatch volunteers were pleased to note a significant reduction of vehicles over the speed limit is all locations. The first session of 2018 would seem to demonstrate how important our profile is -  23 speeding vehicles in only 1 hour, with 30% doing over 40 mph, but already the number of reported vehicles is reducing once more with our repeated session there.

Speedwatch works! it doesn't take up all that much time, its friendly, fun and worth it! We are delighted to welcome two new volunteers, and one more is waiting for training, but the more we have, the more we can do!
Police Speedwatch Officer Mike Brooks has kindly offered to run Speedwatch Training sessions locally, for anyone who could occasionally spare two hours as a Speedwatch Volunteer.

The next training session will be at Cambourne Police Station on Saturday 18th August
